Tidewater Direct is seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator for their Centreville, Maryland location. This full-time position involves operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, performing maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring production meets client specifications. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Perform regular maintenance on digital presses to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor the production process to meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Perform quality checks to ensure materials meet standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating digital presses is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and experience with print management software (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to train on morning-day shift with a seasoned digital press operator for the first few months.
