About the position
The Digital Print Operator will be responsible for operating digital printers and ensuring high-quality output in a production environment. This role involves monitoring printer performance, performing maintenance, and managing print jobs using specialized software. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with color matching to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate digital printers using specialized software for job processing.
- Conduct regular monitoring of printer output to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
- Transfer job files to RIP software, ensure accurate print settings, and manage print queues.
- Transport printed materials to the press/laser or golf packing area for further processing.
- Utilize basic computer skills and AI software to understand job cards and visuals.
