About the position

This remote position, based in Texas, is a key role within the digital product team at Cook Children's Health Care System. The individual will support the delivery of the product roadmap by collaborating with various stakeholders to define requirements and implement features that enhance customer experiences. The role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to transform user feedback and business requirements into actionable improvements. The position involves working under the supervision of a Product Owner or Product Manager to design, implement, test, and support web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the agile team to define requirements and implement new web and mobile app features.
  • Maintain and upgrade applications and related technologies as needed to meet user and vendor requirements.
  • Support communication tools, website technologies, and marketing technology applications.
  • Define and develop KPIs, metrics, and reports.
  • Resolve any issues associated with technology that impacts our customers' experiences.
  • Diagnose failures encountered in application software and related technologies.
  • Participate in meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and rationale behind specific customer requests.
  • Assist the product management team with discovery, requirements gathering, and breaking down goals into actionable tasks.
  • Assist in developing test plans and performing QA to ensure that solutions will meet defined requirements.

Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • 2 or more years of combined experience in a business analysis, healthcare IT, or marketing technology setting with a focus on developing new features and supporting websites and/or marketing technology.
  • Experience supporting website Content Management Systems, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools, product and web analytics applications is highly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Optimizely, Yext, SEMRush, Google Analytics, and/or Amplitude is highly preferred.
  • Relevant Information Technology experience or virtual health certifications preferred.
