About the position

The co-op position within the product management team at Sensitech involves supporting the growth of the primary software platform by assisting in the development of solutions that cater to customer needs. The role focuses on the full product lifecycle, collaborating with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver products and services that provide unique benefits and superior value to customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Product Champion for the features you work on, supporting strategic and tactical initiatives to generate new market share and ensure customer retention.
• Understand, document, and communicate product/service solutions, including the value to target customers, market size, competitive landscape, business risk, and financial and strategic opportunities.
• Understand business and commercial drivers to help create the business case and requirements for potential new products and enhancements.
• Translate customer and market needs, along with regulatory and technology trends, into product requirements and customer use cases.
• Work with Engineering and Product Owners in the detailed requirement definition and prioritization process.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher).
• GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Available to work onsite in Beverly, Massachusetts for the duration of the Co-Op period, January through August 2025.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals.
• Understanding of agile principles and collaboration tools including Confluence, Jira, or similar software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment.
