About the position

The Digital Product Manager at Summit Credit Union serves as a crucial liaison between members and staff, guiding the development team in creating software solutions that effectively address both business and user needs. A comprehensive understanding of both client perspectives and technical solutions—encompassing both back-end and front-end technologies—is essential for success in this position. In this dynamic role, the Digital Product Manager will be tasked with developing a clear and strategic roadmap that aligns product features with business objectives. This includes providing product development support that not only meets the needs of members but also drives business growth. The position requires fostering strong partnerships with internal departments and external partners to ensure extensive collaboration and alignment with key business priorities. The Digital Product Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that internal and external stakeholders deliver on agreed-upon requirements, ultimately leading to enhanced member experience and retention through product and service optimization. A strategic approach is vital, as the Digital Product Manager will need to drive business goals, encourage innovation, prioritize work effectively, and align resources and budgets accordingly. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience required.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in digital product management or a similar role.
  • Minimum 6+ years of leadership experience required.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Jira for project management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for building great products that solve customer and business problems.
  • Familiarity with member-facing digital platforms such as Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
