The Digital Product Manager, App & Profile is a newly established role at The IRONMAN Group, aimed at enhancing the digital experience for athletes and fans through the company's digital applications and profiles. This position is crucial in managing the digital customer experience (CX) strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director of Digital Platforms, UX/UI Design, and Web Development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing customer-facing solutions across web and mobile platforms, particularly in the context of endurance sports. Experience as an athlete or working closely with athletes in the sports industry is highly desirable, as it will inform the development of features that resonate with the target audience. In this role, the Digital Product Manager will partner with digital leadership and key stakeholders to shape the product vision and strategy. They will be responsible for fostering the ongoing development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring that it aligns with the needs of users and the organization. Collaboration with global cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Marketing, Registration Platforms, Athlete Services, Partnerships, and Operations, will be essential to drive product success. The manager will also be tasked with developing and maintaining tracking and reporting mechanisms to evaluate product performance, which will inform future investments. They will lead the functional design process, translating product roadmap features into well-defined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Additionally, the role involves defining user experiences for both internal and external users, establishing agile workflows for efficient product updates, and continuously reviewing business needs to refine priorities and identify opportunities and risks. This position is based in Tampa, Florida, and reports directly to the Senior Director of Digital Platforms.
