About the position

The Digital Product Manager - Associate (DPM-A) plays a crucial role in supporting Independent Health's Digital Experience team by managing the daily digital product development needs. This position focuses on both web and mobile applications, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and product usage. The DPM-A will collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT and external vendors, to implement projects effectively and meet business requirements, while also advising on best practices for user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create business plans for new digital capabilities, functionality, and services for customers.
  • Provide competitive research and market analysis to drive the direction of digital products.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common and shared vision.
  • Lead teams through the development process by creating product priorities and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with IT and technology vendors to ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Determine and create metrics to ensure the success of all Independent Health digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to determine promotional elements needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze and report on key digital metrics.
  • Investigate, assess, and recommend emerging technology solutions to enhance business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of digital, marketing, or technology experience required.
  • Experience in developing digital solutions to drive user engagement, customer experience, and/or customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of the digital space, including current market trends in online media and social media aspects.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work with associates across multiple business areas.
  • Experience using analytical skills to create appropriate recommendations.
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including understanding business concepts, functions, terminology, and relationships.
