About the position

The Digital Product Manager-Associate (DPM-A) plays a crucial role in supporting Independent Health's Digital Experience team by managing the day-to-day digital product development needs. This position is responsible for overseeing digital products for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a clear understanding of user needs and usage patterns. The DPM-A will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Information Technology and business partners, to implement projects effectively and communicate business requirements while measuring success against established goals.

Responsibilities

  • Create business plans for new digital capabilities, functionality, and services for customers.
  • Provide competitive research and market analysis to drive the direction of digital products.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common and shared vision.
  • Lead teams through the development process by creating product priorities and requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with IT and technology vendors to ensure technical requirements are met.
  • Determine and create metrics to ensure the success of all Independent Health digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to determine promotional elements needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze and report on key digital metrics.
  • Shape and coordinate a company-wide e-business strategy with other e-business team members.
  • Investigate, assess, and recommend emerging technology solutions to enhance business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of digital, marketing, or technology experience required.
  • Experience in developing digital solutions to drive user engagement, customer experience, and/or customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of the digital space, including current market trends in online media and social media aspects.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to build relationships across multiple business areas.
  • Experience using analytical skills to create appropriate recommendations.
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including understanding business concepts, philosophies, functions, terminology, and relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with user experience design principles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
