About the position

As a Digital Product Manager, you'll be able to contribute to cutting-edge solutions that positively impact the healthcare industry. In this role, you will develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-related initiatives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate business needs into data-driven product requirements. Monitoring industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies will be essential to inform product development and innovation. You will oversee the collection, storage, and management of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security. Designing and implementing data integration solutions to unify data across multiple platforms and systems will be a key responsibility. You will work closely with data engineers and architects to establish scalable data pipelines and architectures. Defining and prioritizing analytics requirements to support business objectives and decision-making processes will be part of your duties. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop advanced analytics models and algorithms, ensuring the delivery of actionable insights through data visualization and reporting tools. Leading cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders in the development of data products will be crucial. You will create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. Communicating product vision, progress, and results to executive leadership and other stakeholders will be essential. You will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and drive product improvements, acting as the primary point of contact for all data-related product inquiries and issues. Identifying process enhancements, automation, and optimization opportunities in data handling and product development will be part of your continuous improvement efforts. Staying current with data management, analytics, and product management practices will help drive continuous improvement, implementing metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and identify areas for growth and enhancement.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on data-related initiatives, data analytics, or data management.
  • 2+ years working in health care payer or HealthTech space.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, integration, and analytics technologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building products in a startup or alternative scenario with high ambiguity.
  • Experience with healthcare standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and HL7.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and protocols, such as FHIR.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts and applications.
  • Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute).

Benefits

  • Base pay range: The minimum salary is $115K and the max salary is $120K.
