About the position

Good Sam is looking for a Digital Product Manager to join the Member Services team, focusing on enhancing customer lifetime value through innovative travel-focused digital ecosystems. The role involves driving customer engagement and retention by developing and scaling exceptional digital experiences for travel-conscious consumers. This position requires collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of product strategies and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and develop digital strategies to drive innovation and maintain market leadership.
  • Define user experience, gather requirements, and evaluate feature performance for continuous iteration.
  • Lead discovery sessions to write detailed requirements and assist in the strategy development of new digital experiences.
  • Maintain and communicate strategic product roadmaps across multiple product workstreams.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from discovery, creation, operation, and end of life planning.
  • Prioritize product lines and initiatives based on consumer and business impact.
  • Communicate to executive stakeholders on product strategy, execution, and performance.
  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal stakeholder groups, including IT, Engineering, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Legal.
  • Create robust requirements and program specification documentation, including high-level system diagrams, use cases, data flow diagrams, process maps, mock-ups, and other key project resources.
  • Ensure clear communication and handover of requirements to development teams and maintain ongoing business engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide industry expertise to address complex digital challenges and make strategic decisions to achieve program goals.
  • Leverage data, customer research, and competitive analysis to support and refine product ideas.
  • Communicate product objectives, goals, and scope effectively within the digital team and across the organization to ensure alignment and clarity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in ecommerce or digital solutions.
  • Data driven, strategic decision making.
  • Inspirational leadership, challenging teams to be creative and innovative about problem solving.
  • Strong product leadership skills that have others seeking your guidance.
  • An advocate for the consumer who is both strategic and invested in the details.
  • Strong communication skills - both as a writer and presenter.
  • An agile champion with strong knowledge of agile principles.
