About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working with web, mobile, or other digital product development in a BA, design, PM, or development role.
  • Exposure to project management practices and principles.
  • Experience working across disciplines (IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.) and analyzing stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to apply ideas from diverse sources to find optimal solutions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change.
  • Skill with computers and mobile devices; able to use necessary software productivity products and new platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Health insurance or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum exposure as a Product Owner or Scrum Master preferred.
  • Experience with multi-channel digital asset delivery preferred.
  • Analytics/data-driven background preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse groups to create requirements in Job Story (JTBD) format preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with interdisciplinary teams and across functional departments to carry out a strategic plan for assigned product(s) or domain(s).
  • Develops detailed business requirements and user stories for product specifications and architecture.
  • Guides the definition, design, and construction of consumer-friendly products.
  • Gathers requirements to inform product strategy development and vision-setting.
  • Informs and manages roadmaps that communicate prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support load.
  • Develops product development recommendations to leadership and cross-functional committees.
  • Communicates activities, statuses, issues, and accomplishments to management and partners.
  • Drives dialogue with engineering teams and program management to deliver integrated services.
  • Collaborates with design and product teams from partner organizations.
  • Proactively identifies strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals.
  • Attends continuous education classes to increase knowledge in the healthcare industry and Agile/SAFe practices.
