About the position

The Institutional Digital Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Global Institutional websites. This role focuses on enhancing customer experiences and driving business value through collaboration with various teams, ensuring that the digital products align with the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve and enhance Global Institutional web properties to deliver value as part of the Manulife digital ecosystem.
  • Present product concepts, roadmaps, and delivery timelines to business collaborators.
  • Manage product enhancements and new product launches from inception to completion, ensuring collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage program backlog to achieve and maintain targeted business goals.
  • Champion user-centric design by leveraging user feedback, competitive analysis, and technology trends.
  • Respond to bugs and critical customer-facing issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Act as a Business Process owner within the Agile development process.
  • Perform analysis and generate requirements with internal teams, evaluating feasibility and prioritizing deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in product management or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of financial services products and sales cycles.
  • Ability to manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage reporting data for strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to forge relationships across the organization.
  • Experience in conducting user/design research or collaborating with design researchers.
  • Proven ability to steer cross-functional teams toward common goals.
  • Knowledge of AEM foundational concepts and experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid product development approaches.
