About the position

The position involves managing the detail, delivery, and customer experience for all digital and audio products of the Bible and Mary Baker Eddy's published writings. The role is focused on enhancing the accessibility and usability of these works for a global audience, while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the texts. The incumbent will oversee product management aspects, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and support marketing initiatives related to these digital products.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all product-management aspects related to creating and distributing digital and audio products of Mary Baker Eddy's writings in all languages.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience with digital products while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of her texts.
  • Set the strategy, schedule, and deliverables for the Concord Scrum team based on customer feedback.
  • Direct technical lead's communication with outside developers and serve as first-tier beta tester.
  • Propose product enhancements that will drive additional subscriptions and increased product exposure.
  • Create and implement marketing initiatives in all categories and languages available, including email marketing journeys and website copy.
  • Update and improve the Concord product website and associated Help Center, including creating help videos and articles.
  • Plan and execute training sessions for customers, including Concord webinars.
  • Identify opportunities to engage directly with customers to improve their experience and track customer feedback.
  • Facilitate Publisher's Agent's approval of all TEI updates and oversee English and translated content additions to Concord.
  • Represent OPA with internal and external audiences, making presentations and preparing written communications as needed.
  • Coordinate updates and improvements to eBook and audiobook files and their associated marketing materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities that will help align product offerings with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Requires a college degree with a minimum of 7+ years of strong professional experience in a product management environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills and good presentation skills required.
  • Demonstrated competence managing multiple projects and setting priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and superb follow-through.
  • Experience with software development and/or testing preferred.
  • Familiarity with XML, TEI, ebooks, or other aspects of digital publishing is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Trello, SalesForce, and/or Jira preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat & InDesign, and/or translation memory software MemoQ is a plus.
