About the position

The Digital Product Manager/Owner will play a crucial role in leading the Digital Product Team responsible for enhancing customer experience through various digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications. This position involves overseeing the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering to user acceptance testing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence and project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product team and serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and mobile app environments.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Document process flows and status reports in collaboration with Business and IT teams.
  • Write and execute well-planned test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support other testing workstreams.
  • Support nationwide customer, dealer, and field operations, including training and organizational change management.
  • Collaborate with CX, business, development, and testing resources to create, deliver, and test user stories.
  • Lead initiatives and meet with leadership to articulate proposals and gain approvals.
  • Maintain operations to meet SLAs through various management tasks including payments batch, deployments, and incident management.
  • Lead Agile sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and backlog management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management, product development, or product operations experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing mixed teams: business/IT, internal/external, onshore/nearshore/offshore.
  • 2+ years of experience with customer-facing top brand digital products and websites.
  • 1+ years of roadmap and business planning experience.
  • Experience driving procurement processes including evaluations and RFI/RFP selection of tools and vendors.
  • Experience leading grooming sessions, capturing requirements, and preparing for user acceptance testing.
  • Outstanding written and verbal multidisciplinary communication skills.
  • Education: BA/BS degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agile certification for Product Owner or Scrum Master (preferably SAFe Agile).
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred) or the ability to gain Salesforce admin certification within the first year.
  • 2 years of experience in payments, financial services, or captive finance industry.
  • Mobile app experience.
