About the position

The Digital Product Manager at Allstate will play a crucial role in defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of product features within Allstate Mobile, which includes both iOS and Android applications. This position focuses on enhancing customer self-service capabilities and requires collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure successful product strategies and execution.

Responsibilities

• Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in the digital product portfolio.
• Represent the 'voice of the customer' by engaging with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
• Define and manage metrics to measure the success of product efforts and inform overall product strategy.
• Author, test, and accept user stories.
• Utilize customer feedback, market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on product strategy decisions.
• Manage the product backlog and provide timely feedback on development iterations.
• Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks for the Product Team.
• Lead discovery/test & learn activities to validate assumptions and product direction.

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 5 or more years of experience in product management or related field (Preferred)
• Understanding of and experience working in a technology development environment.
• Experience shipping software and operating in an environment driven by OKRs.
• Advanced communication skills for conveying complex concepts to development teams.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in breaking down work for iterative and incremental delivery.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and transparent communication.
