About the position

The Digital Product Manager at Farm Credit Mid-America is responsible for leading the development and execution of the digital strategy, focusing on business process and technology transformation. This role collaborates with various cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and market needs. The position encompasses all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation and research to launch and post-launch analysis, with a strong emphasis on customer experience and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the long-term product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with strategic imperatives and marketplace needs.
  • Oversee the product development process from ideation to post-production innovation, focusing on customer experience and return on investment.
  • Support the development and communication of product strategies based on new services/features to drive results.
  • Set priorities and manage the product backlog to ensure important features are developed and launched first.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure technical feasibility and design quality of the product.
  • Define product requirements and create specifications to guide product development.
  • Implement new product strategies across different lines of business.
  • Transform the business through process and platform innovation.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, including usage metrics and customer feedback.
  • Develop industry awareness and relationships to inform competitive strategies and future roadmap functionality.
  • Make data-driven decisions based on customer and market research insights.
  • Maintain the Product Backlog and evaluate business value of potential enhancements.
  • Create and update product roadmaps focusing on epic level and long-term items.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create change management plans.
  • Develop, report on, and visualize Key Performance Indicators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, finance, statistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on technology implementation projects or relevant business experience.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and facilitating decision-making and strategic planning.
