About the position

The Digital Product Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the development, implementation, product strategy, and management of AGI's consumer-facing products across its websites and mobile applications. This position entails planning, developing, launching, and maintaining a diverse line of products and services aimed at achieving desired business and financial outcomes. The Digital Product Manager will execute all phases of the product development lifecycle, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and optimize processes. Collaboration with a cross-functional team is essential, as the product manager will lead the development and maintenance of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives. In this role, the Digital Product Manager will consolidate customer feedback to inform product planning and feature development, ensuring that the products align with end-user requirements. They will manage a portfolio of products, holding accountability for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect the organization's goals and the performance of individual product lines. The manager will identify product opportunities that align with business strategies and revenue goals through competitive analysis, industry trends, and product research. They will partner with teams to define, execute, and test concepts against identified opportunities, recommending successful concepts for prototype development and collaborating with cross-functional resources to develop and test prototypes effectively. The Digital Product Manager will oversee the full product lifecycle management of all products within their portfolio, defining analytics and reporting metrics to measure success. They will work closely with the Legal team to ensure compliance with product and regulatory documentation, manage bugs and issues, and act as a change agent throughout projects. As a subject matter expert for multiple product lines, the manager will communicate effectively with internal team members, stakeholders across the organization, and external partners, demonstrating both foundational and leadership competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidates the voice of customers to plan for products and features that satisfy end-user needs.
  • Manages a portfolio of products that delivers desired goals and financial results.
  • Accountable for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization and individual product lines.
  • Identifies product opportunities that satisfy business strategy and revenue goals through competitive analysis, industry trends, and product research.
  • Partners with the team to define, execute, and test concepts against identified opportunity areas.
  • Recommends successful concepts for prototype development and collaborates with cross-functional resources to develop and test prototypes.
  • Manages resources required to execute the development of successful new product concepts and leads cross-functional development teams to launch new products.
  • Responsible for full product lifecycle management of all products within the portfolio.
  • Defines analytics and reporting metrics.
  • Works with Legal for product and regulatory documentation.
  • Manages bugs, issues, and acts as the change agent throughout projects.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for multiple product lines.
  • Effectively communicates with internal team members, stakeholders across the organization, and outside the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working in an interactive, mobile, or IT organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge/understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to deliver an idea from inception through implementation.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce for a consumer-facing website or mobile application preferred.
  • Goal and action-focused with a track record of successful product delivery.
  • Self-directed initiative and proactive drive.
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and online analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
