About the position

The Digital Product Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific is responsible for defining the product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and meets customer needs. This role involves engaging with stakeholders, driving product feature execution, and monitoring market trends to shape product strategies and roadmaps. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery and performance tracking through key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy that aligns with overall business goals and meets customer needs.
  • Conduct collaboration with e-business product management and technical personnel to ensure strategies are aligned with customer-centric digital experiences.
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop business justification and obtain buy-in for product initiatives.
  • Present strategy, roadmaps, and status updates to diverse leadership stakeholders regularly.
  • Drive product feature execution by formulating detailed plans with cross-functional teams to meet expectations for resources, budget, release timing, and KPIs.
  • Work with analytics and customer insights to establish key performance indicators for product success.
  • Monitor market, competitive, and technology trends to shape strategy and roadmaps.
  • Coordinate technology and data process roadmaps in partnership with engineering leaders.
  • Capture, reprioritize, and communicate changing business needs to digital engineering.
  • Collaborate and negotiate priorities and resources across a complex global organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Marketing, Public Administration, or any field of study.
  • 3 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Digital Product Manager, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce website search engine or search results product management.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology.
  • Proficiency in Jira and product management within a global digital environment.
  • Focus on customer experience and digital technology enablement.
  • Ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with analytics platforms including Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Excel.

  • Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Marketing, Public Administration, or any field of study.
