About the position

The Digital Product Manager at Classic Vacations is responsible for leading critical digital projects that align with business strategy and client needs. This role focuses on delivering innovative solutions, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring project success through effective communication and risk management. The position requires a results-driven leader with a passion for digital innovation and a commitment to fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives, developing long- and short-term project roadmaps.
• Create detailed project plans with cross-functional teams, ensuring task assignments and resource availability.
• Lead and empower cross-functional teams, setting expectations and providing ongoing support.
• Act as the primary liaison among internal teams, facilitating communication and transparency on project updates.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure quality and continuity.
• Manage quality control measures to meet high standards for excellence.
• Remain agile in response to shifting project requirements and adapt plans as needed.
• Balance competing project demands and manage trade-offs between cost, timelines, and customer impact.
• Set and track success metrics for each project or feature post-implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or Marketing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the travel industry.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Smartsheet, Jira, and SharePoint.
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• High level of project management competency, focusing on planning, tracking, and risk identification.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CSPO, or similar.
• Creative problem-solving mindset with innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile/SCRUM or Waterfall.
• Experience using AI tools for workplace efficiency.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the travel industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with natural language models and machine learning tools.
