About the position

As a Digital Product Manager at MillerKnoll, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the digital strategy for the Herman Miller Group across various digital products. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing digital experiences for both contract and consumer clients. You will be the champion of user needs, ensuring that the products developed not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your collaboration with product and engineering teams will be crucial in addressing both internal and external bugs, as well as implementing feature improvements that enhance the overall user experience. In this role, you will define product features and requirements, leading the implementation of new digital products and updates. You will ensure that all necessary user acceptance, performance, and post-production testing is conducted in accordance with Herman Miller's testing guidelines. Fostering a culture of customer-centered design throughout the organization will be one of your key responsibilities. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities and trends within the digital marketplace, analyzing relevant vendors, and keeping a close eye on the competitive landscape. Managing vendor and stakeholder relationships will be essential, as will maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies that can optimize current business practices. Utilizing analytics and customer research, you will measure product effectiveness and direct future product development, ensuring that the digital strategy aligns with the overall goals of the organization. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to achieve business objectives, making this a dynamic and engaging role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the champion of the user's needs.

  • Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and how they may optimize current business practices.
  • Utilize analytics and customer research to measure product effectiveness and direct future product development.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product or delivery management, preferably within digital.
  • Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of web analytics.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and definition.
  • A deep understanding of the contemporary digital ecosystem.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence decision making and creative concepts.
  • A history of delivering consistent results with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to use office automation, communication, software, and tools in the office environment.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
