About the position

The Senior Manager of Digital Product Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA) is a key leadership role within the Digital Product & UX team, responsible for steering digital initiatives to achieve meaningful business outcomes. This position involves leading a team of product owners and testers to ensure that digital products deliver value and drive key business results. The role encompasses managing all aspects of product management for BCBSMA's Digital Assets, optimizing online member acquisition and engagement, and enhancing the customer experience through strategic planning and execution of digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Digital Product & UX team in defining and executing the strategic vision for digital products.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and strategic direction for digital capabilities.
  • Translate business objectives and marketing insights into actionable digital strategies.
  • Collaborate with business management and marketing teams to align digital initiatives with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with the UX team to integrate customer experience insights into strategic planning.
  • Oversee the execution of digital projects, ensuring enhancements to customer experience and online engagement.
  • Use customer feedback and performance data to refine and optimize the digital product portfolio.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of product owners and testers.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and dashboards to measure the impact of digital initiatives.
  • Provide regular analysis of trends and key performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Champion innovation and efficiency within the team, ensuring digital solutions meet quality standards.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Direct experience working in the Healthcare industry.
  • 8 years formal product management experience at a large organization.
  • 6 years directly managing a team.
  • 8 years online and/or e-commerce marketing experience.
  • Experience in formal business requirement and business case creation.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Miro.
  • Understanding of web design/development concepts and processes.
  • Intermediate experience in common web development standards and tools.
  • Experience in Website Management and Analysis.
  • Understanding of Performance Analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5-8 years relevant experience in Health Insurance/managed care industry.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver products that achieve specific, measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
