About the position

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of its IoT portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and execution of digital experiences for connected solutions.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of digital products with a focus on user-centered design.
  • Craft and maintain a compelling product vision in collaboration with business partners.
  • Create business cases for opportunities that drive business growth.
  • Advocate for the end user by integrating feedback and analytics into product development.
  • Define user problems that lead to product features and capabilities.
  • Consult with business partners to integrate digital solutions into existing business cases.
  • Drive software initiatives from inception to execution and iteration.
  • Provide vision and leadership to the product team as a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product design to build scalable products.
  • Deliver user experiences that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain the product roadmap for short- and long-term releases.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to promote the platform to stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enable product success and create customer demand.
  • Act as a Product Champion within the organization.
  • Balance strategic and detailed perspectives to ensure program efficacy.
  • Integrate user feedback into product requirements.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in software product management or product leadership.
  • Knowledge of design thinking strategies and instructional design.
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience impacting user experience and understanding user needs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate large data sets.
  • Solid customer orientation and understanding of the user lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile software development, startup, or agency environments.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
