The Investment Management portfolio is looking for a Product Owner I to join our Investment Advice & Monitoring (IAM) Product team. This role will lead a delivery team that is modernizing Investment Research systems for both Home Office and Branch Users. The position has a broad scope of responsibility and requires an understanding of firm investment programs, financial products, Agile software development, stakeholder management, and effective decision making. The Product Owner will partner with the IAM Product Manager to align strategy to execution through the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, outlining the body of work expected now, next, and into the future (emphasis on the now and next). The Product Owner serves as the individual accountable for one system, or sub-components of low to medium complex product structures. They are responsible for providing thought leadership and driving a functional product team to deliver value to internal and external customers of the Firm. The role is accountable for the respective product's branch/client/home office experience that necessitates a system thinking approach. This work includes management of system plans and supporting artifacts encompassing resource requirements, stakeholder solution requirements, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria as necessary to deliver on the promised business value. This individual additionally serves as the primary contact for issues and escalations related to their supported systems, providing as timely resolution as possible. This individual will additionally interact and align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive progression of the department strategy. This role will collaborate with the Sr Product Owner/Product Manager to maintain and prioritize the product backlog. Assist in writing well defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the backlog is refined and ready for sprint planning. This role will collaborate with QE resources to define acceptance criteria and ensure that the delivered product meets quality standards.
