About the position

The Digital Product Owner III will lead a team of product managers and analysts to execute the digital strategy for Zillion Technologies. This role requires significant stakeholder influence and relationship management, both internally and externally, to ensure the successful implementation of digital visions and strategies that align with business needs and growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers to create and implement digital visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Assess digital platforms in the marketplace and recommend potential partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage digital techniques for strategic impact and define priority capabilities.
  • Develop business cases and requirements for digital opportunities and drive execution.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to shape and implement digital strategies and initiatives.
  • Incorporate the voice of the customer and advisor into product features to align with business outcomes.
  • Develop and manage goals and key performance indicators.
  • Partner with Marketing for product positioning and promotion of digital products.
  • Understand customer digital needs through research and industry trends.
  • Continuously assess competitive moves and monitor performance against objectives.
  • Present data and recommendations to senior management to build buy-in for strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize product requirements and coordinate release plans with IT and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary business contact for implementation activities and ensure milestones are met.
  • Guide complex projects and engage key stakeholders for participation.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements for new features.
  • Meet with decision makers to identify business, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Serve as the technical focal point for presenting new systems to the Application and Architecture Review Board.
  • Lead design sessions for prototyping new systems or functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation for system integration points.
  • Improve systems by analyzing current practices and designing modifications.
  • Recommend controls for system access and configuration management.
  • Review and analyze existing systems for effectiveness and develop improvement strategies.
  • Act as liaison to IT and Operations for change management and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and new systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of financial services experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the digital space.
  • Experience as a people manager.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Program management and leadership experience.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing against a strategic plan.
  • Proven ability to develop product roadmaps and lead implementation efforts successfully.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and management skills.
