Lennox Industries is seeking a Digital Product Owner II to join our team in Richardson, TX. The Digital Product Owner plays a pivotal role in guiding the development of our products, ensuring that they align with both customer needs and business objectives. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate the product vision and strategy to the technology team, ensuring that all efforts are aligned with overarching business goals. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a well-defined product backlog, prioritizing features, and acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. You will orchestrate feature development in DevOps, providing guidance to business analysts in crafting clear user stories with acceptance criteria. Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in gathering requirements and integrating valuable feedback into the product development process. You will cultivate strong technical relationships with vendors and serve as the product representative throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and development to testing and release. Additionally, you will define acceptance criteria, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure that delivered features meet specified requirements. Your ability to communicate the product roadmap and release plans will foster transparency and understanding among all stakeholders. As a Digital Product Owner, you will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks related to product development, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) will be essential in assessing the success and impact of delivered features, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate the product vision and strategy to the technology team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, aligning it with overall product strategy and key business priorities.
  • Orchestrate feature development in DevOps and guide business analysts in crafting clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate feedback into the product development process.
  • Cultivate technical relationships with vendors and represent the product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Plan and prioritize releases with the development team to ensure timely delivery of valuable features.
  • Define acceptance criteria and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered features meet requirements.
  • Communicate the product roadmap, release plans, and feature updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks related to product development and delivery, implementing mitigation measures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing the product development process and tracking KPIs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience managing enterprise products or projects or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) or a combination of experience and education.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
