About the position

The Digital Product Owner for Onsite Ad Products at TEKsystems is responsible for leading a cross-functional agile development team to create and enhance ad products for Brand Partners within the retail media network. This role involves developing a product roadmap, gathering requirements, prioritizing tasks, managing releases, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of Brand Partner needs.
  • Lead an Agile Pod consisting of cross-functional team members in the iterative delivery of ad products.
  • Coordinate with engineering and deployment teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product status and roadmap changes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of ad products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to drive product development and success.
  • Facilitate retrospectives and feedback sessions to continuously improve team processes and product quality.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of advertising technology and/or marketing technology concepts.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships across teams such as Product, UX, Design, eCommerce, and Development.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning skills with the ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Experience in the advertising industry preferred.
  • Ability to communicate relevant details and influence decision making based on the audience.
