As a Digital Production Systems Product Manager at Baker Hughes, you will play a pivotal role in the Artificial Lift team, focusing on the integration of various digital solutions to enhance product offerings. Your primary responsibility will be to tie together the strategies of multiple functions, including Leucipa, FusionPro, Production Link, Edge, and Veros, to create a simplified and cohesive product offering. You will define the strategy for Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) and how it connects to our customers' digital solutions, ensuring that our offerings encompass intelligent solutions that integrate hardware, software, and user interface options. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales teams to define field trials for Edge and Veros applications, while also reviewing and defining strategies around Advanced Process Control (APC), Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) power quality, ESP optimization, and predictive failure analysis. Your work will involve assessing the electrical and mechanical health of systems to increase field personnel efficiency and improve application sizing. You will also work with commercial and marketing teams to gather market research, voice of customer insights, and competitor intelligence to develop effective strategies for both established and emerging markets. Your goal will be to deliver business growth through a comprehensive life-cycle strategy that balances new product introduction, advanced technology development, and service productivity programs. You will proactively identify appropriate segmenting, targeting, and positioning of products and services within the competitive landscape. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and designing platform strategies that allow for both short-term and long-term product positioning, ensuring that technology advancements are validated with customers and regulatory agencies. You will create product/service roadmaps that optimize profitability while ensuring quality and reliability improvements. Your role will also involve establishing pricing and profitability targets for the product portfolio and leading the New Product Introduction (NPI) planning phase in coordination with various stakeholders. As a representative of Baker Hughes, you will engage in external discussions and technical forums, presenting and authoring relevant papers as necessary.
