About the position

The Digital Products Intern position is a 10-week Summer Internship focused on supporting the Retail Banking and Transformation team at Openbank. The intern will assist in enhancing the digital experience for banking customers, contributing to the launch of a new digital bank in the U.S. market. This role provides an opportunity to gain insights into digital transformation and financial technology within a diverse global company.

Responsibilities

  • Support customer journey definitions and evaluate current journeys to recommend future customer experience improvements.
  • Assist in documentation and writing of business requirements, including building epics and user stories in Jira.
  • Maintain ongoing stakeholder relationships, including Subject Matter Experts in Legal, Compliance, and Risks.
  • Ensure the quality of work produced by development teams by helping the product team test new functionalities.
  • Analyze user and application data to identify friction points and create recommendations to improve conversion rates.
  • Facilitate agile processes across product and development teams.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or graduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Preferred areas of study include Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Research, Economics, Psychology, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Verbal presentation skills to clearly communicate processes and concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of the financial services industry is preferred but not required.
  • Interest in Digital Transformation in Finance.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment.
  • Solid professional and personal work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently on special projects.
  • Ability to work in an inclusive environment that supports employees from all backgrounds.
