About the position

The Digital QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications and websites across various devices and platforms. This part-time role focuses on marketing delivery channel needs and involves close collaboration with developers and the change control manager. The analyst will document and track bugs, ensure products meet quality standards, and update testing documents throughout the testing process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute thorough testing of mobile applications and websites on various devices including Apple and Android phones, tablets, and desktops/laptops.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs and issues using tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and other QA team members to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure previously fixed issues do not reoccur.
  • Perform usability testing to ensure the application is user-friendly.
  • Validate that applications meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QA Tester for mobile applications and websites.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes including experience with release notes and intake meetings.
  • Experience with cross-platform testing on various devices, including Apple iOS and Google Android devices, and different web browsers on desktops/laptops.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
  • Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Experience in conducting regression testing with high efficiency.
  • Proficient in using bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure, Microsoft Excel etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Experience with usability testing and UX experience principles.
  • Experience working with change management/change control/QA team processes.
