The role is essential for maintaining high standards of user experience and performance across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the testing effort on multiple areas of the software development life cycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Create, document, and execute manual test plans to validate releases across multiple platforms and devices.
• Conduct testing on e-commerce platforms to ensure functionality, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to execute and validate test cases based on specified requirements.
• Provide administrative support, requirements gathering, and ticket management.
• Identify, report, and track defects using Jira.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience on a QA team working with e-commerce applications.
• 3+ years' experience with an automation framework such as Playwright or Selenium.
• Strong ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills, as well as strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
• Strong technical understanding of web and mobile technologies.
• Must be a self-starter with ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in both an individual and team-based environment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple job tasks simultaneously and meet agreed-upon deadlines.
