About the position

The Digital Solution Engineer Senior plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the technology necessary for the effective implementation of the System-wide Human Resources strategy. This position is integral to the Digital Associate Experience Team, which is dedicated to delivering a world-class digital experience across the entire system. The Digital Solution Engineer Senior will partner with stakeholders across various Human Resource operational verticals to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business needs and objectives, ultimately achieving measurable impact. In this role, the engineer will lead the implementation of HR digital solutions, ensuring that these solutions are in line with organizational goals. This involves making connections across systems, processes, design, configuration, customization, and integration to meet business needs. The engineer will also be responsible for creating recommendations that set the standard for excellence and best practices in HR processes and technology solutions. Additionally, the Digital Solution Engineer Senior will conduct thorough testing of HR systems to ensure their functionality, performance, and security. Implementing quality assurance measures to minimize the risk of system errors and data discrepancies is also a key responsibility. The engineer will demonstrate thought leadership in technical matters, resolving challenges through innovative solutions and facilitating technical discussions to build consensus among team members. Furthermore, the engineer will lead the delivery of technology solutions, translating business requirements into technical requirements and configurations for implementation. Collaboration with software vendors to facilitate external support and drive system enhancements is also expected. The role includes developing user stories that are concise, feasible, and have clear acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of HR digital solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Facilitate technical discussions with the appropriate team members to build consensus and align on execution.
  • Lead the delivery of technology solutions and translate business requirements and processes into technical requirements and configurations for implementation.
  • Collaborate with software vendors to facilitate external support and drive system enhancements.
  • Develop user stories that are concise, feasible, and have clear acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in information technology, computer science or related field is required.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited university or college in information technology, computer science or related field is preferred.
  • Possessing strong consulting skills and the ability to quickly assess situations, identify gaps and present possible solutions as a thought leader.
  • Ability to create key technical documentation (i.e. Step-by-Step / User-Guides, Knowledge Articles, FAQ's, etc.).
  • 5-7 years of experience in product engineering or related field is required.
  • Proven history of leading and supporting assessment & implementation of HR technology is preferred.
  • Experience with data management, Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML)/Robotic Process Automation (RPA) algorithms is preferred.
  • Experience supporting/managing projects/programs and delivering outcomes based on project plans and milestones is preferred.
  • Experience with communicating confidently and professionally with all levels of the organization and to non-technical audiences is preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical systems such as Infor, ServiceNow, Workato, and UI Path is preferred.
  • Experience with working in a highly iterative environment with Agile and Scrum methodology for testing and logging results in tools such as Monday.com, Jira or Confluence is preferred.
  • Experience creating and executing automation test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT), etc. is preferred.
  • Experience working with languages such as Java, .NET, or Python is preferred.
  • Experience working with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, UFT, etc. is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt is preferred.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner is preferred.
