About the position

The Digital Technician and Video Producer at Hampden is responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with the brand's luxurious image and enhances customer experience. This role combines digital production skills with a strong understanding of visual storytelling within the fashion industry, focusing on managing workflows, editing, and collaborating with team members to produce engaging video content.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the digital workflow for the shoot
• Transferring files, processing them, and creating backups
• Sorting and organizing images for the client and photographer
• Making minor adjustments to images in real time
• Acting as a liaison between those working remotely and in person
• Creating a display of the images for viewing during or after the shoot
• Ensuring that all assets are saved and copied to the client's and photographer's hard drives
• Managing video projects from concept to completion
• Developing concepts and scripts for various video formats

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience (3+ years) in video production, preferably within the fashion or retail industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects, with an emphasis on storytelling and visual aesthetics
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
• Familiarity with photography and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current trends in the high-end retail sector
