About the position

The Digital Technology Assistant plays a crucial role in managing and updating content across various company websites and mobile applications. This position involves creating engaging digital content, managing subscriber lists, and collaborating on new digital technology projects. The assistant is expected to ensure that all online information is current and accurate while representing the company professionally in all communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update content on the company websites and mobile app.
• Create landing pages, special event, music, and movie listings and publish to web.
• Design, prepare, and send a variety of weekly, monthly, and specialty eblasts.
• Manage subscriber lists and segmentation of audiences for targeted messaging.
• Determine featured events for the homepage and mobile app, creating banners and posters for rotating carousels.
• Troubleshoot the daily flow and process of receiving content to ensure accurate online information.
• Compose and send mobile push notifications.
• Report email statistics as requested.
• Collaborate on new digital technology projects including websites and app development.
• Respond to incoming questions and comments via the webmaster email account.

Requirements

• Previous related education or digital marketing experience
• Experience with web-based Content Management System (CMS)
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop for simple graphic design
• Experience with email sending programs such as Mailchimp or Hive is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with focus and efficiency
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with HTML code is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management
• Basic email, Excel, and computer knowledge
