Digital Technology Internet of Things (IoT) Intern

About the position

The Digital Technology Internet of Things (IoT) Intern at Otis Elevator Company is a full-time, paid summer internship designed for undergraduate students pursuing IT or technical majors. This role focuses on supporting the Otis ONE IoT solution through software development, coding, and troubleshooting. Interns will gain hands-on experience, participate in meaningful projects, and receive continuous training and feedback to enhance their skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop code to support one or more Otis ONE applications
• Troubleshoot any issues or errors
• Perform QA testing of new functionalities
• Help create a better, safer, more connected environment

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT/technical majors, with preference on software development
• Coding skills, including but not limited to languages such as C++, SQL, and Python
• Ability to work with other developers to complete coding and work through issues
• Agile knowledge (ex: SAFe, scrum a plus)
