About the position

The Digital Prod Mgmt Sr Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows the latest trends in their field and adapts them for application within their job and the business. This role typically involves a small number of individuals within the business who provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are essential to guide, influence, and convince others, particularly colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. The position is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business, necessitating a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. The role primarily affects a sub-function and includes handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team or project. The responsibilities of the Digital Prod Mgmt Sr Lead Analyst include leading the working backwards documents for a platform product release, using or commissioning research, studies, and focus groups to identify best-of-breed benchmarks for solving business problems. The analyst identifies innovations and leads "test and learn" experiments to create platform products that increase customer value. They define and measure the KPIs for a platform product and are capable of making trade-off decisions on multiple platform products in a portfolio. Additionally, they develop business and platform requirements for either one platform component of a large platform product or a narrow product, leveraging tools such as Ignite for reusability of APIs and platform services. The analyst determines release goals for a narrow platform product or a component of a large product, identifies best practices for continuous product development improvement, and defines and leads new product constructs (e.g., moonshots) by working across teams and products. They understand company-wide assets and can align leadership of dependent teams on necessary structural and/or resource changes to deliver efficiencies. Consulting with C12 and C13 on design reviews, product requirements, and acceptance criteria is also part of their responsibilities. The analyst prioritizes and implements best practices for improved product development efficiency and quality, formalizing these best practices into broader frameworks and evangelizing them with other Citi teams. They must appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
