About the position

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Manager to join our team at the Atlanta Digital Hub. In this pivotal role, you will lead the technical aspects, design, and management of enterprise digital technology products. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including digital, engineering, design, and operations, to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance for digital business solutions. As a Technical Product Manager, you will engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs, ensuring that our digital products deliver exceptional value. You will provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, translating feature requirements, designs, and technical architecture into actionable user stories. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for data center digital technologies, aligning with company goals and market needs. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with various teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery. You will ensure that all products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices. Furthermore, you will develop and implement training programs for internal teams and customers to ensure effective use and understanding of our products. Continuous monitoring and analysis of product performance metrics will be essential to identify areas for improvement and ensure that products meet performance expectations. Finally, you will maintain detailed documentation of product specifications, development processes, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for internal teams and customers.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of product specifications, development processes, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, focusing on digital technology products for enterprises.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or a Technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and translate them to technical requirements.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of data center technologies (Salesforce, ServiceMax, SAP, AWS, Snowflake, Shopify, BI, ETL tools, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
