Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate digital threads across a digital engineering ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and modernize existing engineering processes and procedures to align with Digital Engineering standards.
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources to connect them with other data artifacts using data integration tools.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Support important defense engineering efforts by leveraging your technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience with systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with traceability or engineering process documentation.
  • Knowledge of product configuration and data management principles and practices.
  • Understanding of Digital Thread concepts and their role in digital engineering.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data generated from sources of truth and connect them to other data artifacts using data integration tools.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with developing digital threads.
  • Familiarity with data integration software, including SBE Vision or Syndeia.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management practices and tools.
  • Experience with product development at an aerospace or defense OEM.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of excellent data analysis skills.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
