About the position

The Digital Transformation and Social Media Product Manager will support the deployment and integration of a SaaS-based internal social media engagement platform across Booz Allen's enterprise. This role involves managing content creation and user education on social media usage at work, driving community engagement, and optimizing platform adoption through data analysis and user feedback. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experience and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support efforts to deploy, integrate, moderate, and adopt technology for a SaaS-based internal social media engagement platform.
  • Create, post, and manage content within the platform to educate users on social media usage at work.
  • Drive a community of practice, including the creation, management, and engagement with various community owners.
  • Leverage collaboration, business intelligence, and data analysis skills to optimize platform usage and communicate its value to stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day platform moderation activities with internal communications partners.
  • Support the roadmap that aligns with vendor updates and organizational goals.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback to provide actionable insights to the product development team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a product owner or project manager.
  • 3+ years of experience with social media platforms such as Microsoft Viva Engage, Yammer, or Facebook at Work.
  • 3+ years of experience producing high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms.
  • Experience delivering impactful social media campaigns.
  • Experience translating collected data and feedback into actionable improvements or business cases.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing day-to-day operations with external vendors.
  • Experience with business process development and reengineering.
  • Knowledge of customer service operations and associated ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of basic artificial intelligence and automation concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
