Job Description: At Regions, the User Experience (UX) Content Designer works alongside UX design teammates and product management partners to deliver best-in-class user experiences. While writing and editing are core to the job, content designers understand that it's more than just copywriting. Clear and concise content design is foundational to great user experiences. Primary Responsibilities include planning, designing, and writing content that is featured throughout website or app experiences, including writing user interface copy, website copy, emails, in-app and SMS notifications, navigation and menu labels, error messages, etc. The UX Content Designer actively participates in the design process from beginning to end, including creating journey maps and user flows, providing design feedback, and contributing to the overall direction of the product's user experience. They perform content inventories, audits, and gap analyses to help inform the design of information architecture and hierarchy of content, collaborating with UX partners. The designer learns and practices UX design principles and methodologies to inform research and create wireframes and prototypes, leveraging data, user research, and testing to inform content decisions and recommendations. They advocate for the end user by empathizing with and understanding user needs, partner with management and senior team members, present work, and articulate an approach to a breadth of stakeholders, including UX, product, marketing, legal, and technology. The designer adheres to design systems and content style guide standards, ensuring consistency throughout the product. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
