About the position

The Digital Video Editing Teacher (Part Time) is responsible for planning and facilitating interactive instructional sessions in digital video editing. This role involves working closely with the Director of Educational Development to assist students in developing their skills in digital arts, while also maintaining effective communication and modeling appropriate academic behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Plans and facilitates collaborative and interactive digital video editing instructional sessions.
• Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development to discuss progress and strategies.
• Assists students in the development of a variety of digital video editing skills.
• Maintains consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development.
• Models appropriate academic and social behaviors for students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with students in a teaching or tutoring capacity.
• Extensive experience in digital arts and video editing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage instructional sessions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with students and staff.
