About the position
PowerNation Studios is looking for a video editor to join our digital team. As a Digital Video Editor at PowerNation Studios, you will focus on optimizing our online video content for digital platforms. This includes editing content for YouTube, streaming platforms, VOD usage, and social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Optimize YouTube video content to increase engagement and retention.
- Prepare videos for delivery to VOD platforms using client-provided specs.
- Clip and edit long-form content into reusable short-form pieces.
- Assist with editing content for social media posts.
Requirements
- Be a college graduate, 2+ years of video editing experience.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Strong knowledge of what drives successful YouTube videos.
- Must be able to work alone or as part of a team, be self-motivated, and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
