About the position

The Digital Workplace Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of digital workspace strategies aimed at enhancing collaboration, driving productivity, and enabling business growth within an educational setting. This role primarily involves working remotely while collaborating with technology teams to align business requirements with technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with technology team members to participate in the enterprise architecture technical strategy, understanding business requirements and identifying technology and data solutions that align with these needs.
  • Provide leadership and expertise on collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams, Teams Voice, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and other applications focused on enhancing workplace productivity.
  • Lead the coordination of the design and implementation of new technology and business projects, processes, and architectures, from new technology deployments to the retirement of legacy components.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the Microsoft 365 technology stack, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Security Suite, Microsoft Azure, and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Copilot.
  • Provide technical support for a wide variety of technologies, including Cryptography solutions (SSL/TSL), SSO integration technologies such as SAML2, API, and more.
  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies, such as cloud-based collaboration tools, and support the secure integration of those products into the environment.
  • Engage stakeholders to facilitate workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure effective adoption of new technologies and gather feedback to improve the digital workspace experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Education industry.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Experience with Telephony System.
  • Ability to design, implement, and manage digital workplace solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and understanding of complex IT concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Experience with project management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
