About the position

The Instructional Designer II at Novant Health is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing learning strategies to enhance patient experiences through various educational formats. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create blended learning solutions tailored for a healthcare audience, mastering EPIC applications, and maintaining the training environment for specific application areas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze education needs and develop blended learning solutions for healthcare audiences.
• Master EPIC application(s) and organization-specific workflows for assigned application areas.
• Build, test, and maintain the training environment for application areas, including practice exercises.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to ensure effective communication and consultative relationships.
• Deliver training using a variety of formats, including instructor-led, distance, and computer-based education.

Requirements

• 2 Year / Associate Degree required; 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in healthcare or clinical informatics required; healthcare education preferred.
• Maintain Epic certification(s) based on assigned application(s).
• Proficiency with virtual meetings and Microsoft Office 365, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
