About the position

The Instructional Designer II at Novant Health is responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing learning strategies to enhance patient experiences through various educational formats. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create blended learning solutions tailored for a healthcare audience, mastering EPIC applications, and maintaining the training environment for specific applications. The position emphasizes effective communication and teamwork to ensure quality care and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze education needs and develop blended learning solutions for healthcare audiences.
• Master EPIC application(s) and organization-specific workflows for assigned application area(s).
• Build, test, and maintain the training environment for application(s) area(s), including practice exercises.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to ensure effective learning strategies are implemented.
• Deliver results in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to local, federal, and state regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in healthcare or clinical informatics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current regulatory and governing standards for Learning and Development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and inclusively with stakeholders at all levels.
