About the position

The Dining Assistant/Server position at South Mountain Memory Care involves providing essential dining services in a memory care community. The role focuses on ensuring a welcoming dining experience for residents while performing various tasks related to food service and kitchen maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, utensils, and cookware following established procedures.
• During meal service, takes resident orders and relays them to the cook.
• Ensures residents receive exactly what they ordered.
• Assists in cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly dining experience.
• Ensures that the kitchen is closed and prepared for the next day's service at the direction of the Dining Service Director or Cook.
• Assists the cook in properly labeling, covering, and storing unused food after each meal.
• Assists the cook as requested in inventorying and stocking food products and supplies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in serving is preferred.
