About the position

The Dining General Manager at American Dining Creations is responsible for overseeing all culinary and service operations at a designated account location. This role serves as the company's representative, ensuring client satisfaction through efficient and cost-effective management practices that meet and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage dining services including daily meal service, catering events, and operations.
• Work alongside culinary leaders to ensure proper execution of menu offerings and maintain food costs and standards.
• Complete and manage daily and weekly reports to a District Manager.
• Manage staff and work schedules in accordance with labor modules.
• Interact daily with clients, guests, and vendors.
• Assist with special events including new account openings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations by maintaining accurate food handling and production logs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, restaurant management, business, or a Culinary Degree from an accredited culinary association is preferred.
• Five years' experience in a similar management position, including retail, hotels, business, or education dining.
• Solid financial knowledge of operating budgets, food ordering, inventory, labor modules, and point of sale systems.
• Experience managing service volume up to 500 customers daily and supervising a staff of 5 or more employees.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CATERTRAX, and other online order systems.
• Ability to work a flexible weekly schedule to accommodate business needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and bend for daily work duties.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
