About the position
As a Custodial Services worker at Aramark, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and safety across our operations and locations. This position is essential for ensuring that our customers can enjoy a healthy and pleasant environment. Your responsibilities will include adhering to established safety procedures, which align with OSHA and other regulatory standards, to create a safe working environment. You will be tasked with maintaining a clean and orderly space that reflects the health and safety standards expected by both Aramark and our clients. Your daily duties will involve cleaning assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards, accurately maintaining and cleaning housekeeping equipment, and following proper procedures for the storage and disposal of trash. You will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance concerns through work order requests to the appropriate personnel and ensuring the security of the facility by locking and unlocking the building as required. Responsibilities
- Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
- Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
- Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
- Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
- Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
- Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
- Ensures security of company assets
Requirements
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers
- Adaptable to guests' needs
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
