About the position
P.F. Chang's is hiring immediately for full-time or part-time hourly restaurant dine-in food and beverage Servers, Waitresses, or Waiters. As core team members of our scratch kitchen restaurant, all team members must demonstrate customer service expertise by providing an individualized, exceptional guest experience. This role is essential in delivering an amazing hospitality experience to guests, anticipating, delivering, and exceeding their expectations. You will engage guests by understanding the restaurant menu, guiding them through their dining experience, taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders, as well as processing payments. Additionally, you will need to understand the restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food within the restaurant. We offer a competitive pay structure, including tips, and a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. Paid on-the-job training is provided, and there are opportunities for advancement as we promote from within. Uniforms, including a shirt and apron, are provided at no cost, and you will receive a free meal per shift. Most locations are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, allowing you to spend time with family during the holidays. Responsibilities
- Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests' expectations.
- Understands the restaurant menu to engage guests on choosing menu items and able to answer guest's questions.
- Guides guests through their dining experience while taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders, as well as processing payments.
- Understands restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food within the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous experience is not required - we will train you!
- Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
- Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Have a current Food Handler's Card where applicable, or ability to obtain, where applicable.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.
