The role of Director of HR Supply Chain and Manufacturing is a strategic and consultative business partner to the Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization. This position is crucial in ensuring that the HR strategy aligns with the business objectives, enabling the organization to achieve its goals through effective organizational design, talent management, culture management, leadership development, and employee engagement. The Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR strategies that support the business strategy in various areas, including organizational design, leadership development, succession planning, workforce planning, career development, and rewards and recognition. In this role, the Director will provide supportive HR leadership to a team of HR managers, offering day-to-day support across all Supply Chain and Manufacturing locations. Regular talent planning discussions will be conducted to develop and implement action plans that ensure the growth of high-potential talent and the preparation of a robust leadership pipeline. The Director will also review and provide guidance on promotional and compensation changes to ensure that the reward structure aligns with performance across the business area. Acting as a liaison to business partners and HR functional specialists, the Director will address compensation and benefit issues, training, organizational design, staffing, and labor/employee relations as necessary. Additionally, the Director will advise and counsel business partners on performance management aspects, including coaching, feedback delivery, performance discussions, and conflict management. The role also involves partnering or leading investigations and resolutions of grievances and employee relations issues within organizational units. The Director will be responsible for executing and deploying corporate-wide initiatives and HR special projects, including staffing initiatives and restructures within the client group. Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage HR strategies that support the Supply Chain & Manufacturing organization's business strategy.
  • Provide supportive HR leadership to a team of HR managers across all Supply Chain & Manufacturing locations.
  • Conduct regular talent planning discussions and develop/implement action plans for high potential talent.
  • Review and provide guidance on promotional and compensation changes to align reward structure with performance.
  • Act as a liaison to business partners and HR functional specialists regarding compensation and benefit issues.
  • Advise and counsel business partners on performance management, coaching, and conflict management.
  • Lead investigations and resolutions of grievances and employee relations issues.
  • Execute and deploy corporate-wide HR initiatives and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience, including previous leadership experience.
  • Advanced Degree, such as Master's in Industrial/Labor Relations and/or PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • Experience with managing multi-unit operations in a large corporation.
  • Experience in deploying workforce planning systems including talent management and succession planning.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Track record of influencing and providing consultation to leadership.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
