About the position

This position is responsible for the development and coordination of short-term and long-range strategic real estate plans, objectives, and budgets based on overarching organizational goals and objectives. The role will support the Senior Director and Vice President in the development of feasibility studies, evaluation of viable alternatives, and the refinement of Business Unit strategies involving the real estate footprint. Additionally, this position may manage a group of Portfolio Planners, ensuring that all efforts align with the company's strategic vision. The successful candidate will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the business partner relationship. They will direct the strategic planning process and establish key processes to optimize Charter's real estate portfolio. Collaboration with the Senior Director and Corporate Services' leadership is essential to develop and execute Charter's regional and enterprise-wide real estate solutions. The role involves implementing and supporting both short-term and long-range real estate planning activities, including analytical evaluations of the portfolio. The candidate will be responsible for developing recommendations based on regional and enterprise-wide real estate knowledge for review by leadership of Business Units across the Company. Maintaining regional and enterprise-wide market intelligence is crucial to capitalize on market opportunities and react to time-sensitive projects and business initiatives. The position serves as an active business liaison with Business Units for enterprise-wide real estate solutions, establishing solid, effective connections within regional and corporate business groups. Furthermore, the role requires developing and managing relationships with senior executives and leadership of partner groups, effectively performing complex cost and feasibility analyses, and acting as the initial point of contact for real estate planning activities for assigned business units. The candidate will work independently and report to the Senior Director of Real Estate Portfolio Planning, while also performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the business partner relationship.

  • Proactively identify strategies to optimize Charter's real estate portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director and Corporate Services' leadership to develop and execute Charter's regional and enterprise-wide real estate solutions.
